Secondary Enrichment Program

Our Secondary Enrichment Program (SEP) supports Primary 7 graduates in continuing to secondary school in Uganda, offering scholarships that cover up to 70% of tuition along with mentoring and social-emotional support. Scholarships are renewable through students’ final year of high school, provided they maintain good academic standing. We supply many students with essentials beyond tuition, including uniforms, books, school supplies, mattresses, blankets, and transportation.

During term breaks, we offer SEP students leadership development and health and life skills training on The SOUP campus, as well as counseling and mentoring throughout the year.

SEP Scholars support our School and the surrounding community through volunteer service opportunities such as teaching English, conducting community needs assessments, and leading health and environmental education sessions. They also serve as ambassadors for The SOUP and represent the value of a SOUP education to families and local leaders.
